I’m an Research Scientist at GenBio AI, where I develop large multimodal foundation models for cell and tissue biology, integrating imaging, transcriptomics, and other modalities. I recently completed my PhD in Biomedical Informatics at Stony Brook University, advised by Prof. Prateek Prasanna, Prof. Dimitris Samaras, and Prof. Joel Saltz. My broad interests lie in Computer Vision and its applications in computational pathology, with a specific focus on utilizing histopathology priors. Before joining GenBio AI full-time, I interned at Insitro in 2024, where I worked with Srinivasan Sivanandan, and at GenBio AI in 2025. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from IIT Bombay, India, in 2020, where I had the opportunity to work under the guidance of Prof. Amit Sethi. During the summer of 2019, I interned at the Philips Innovation Campus in Bangalore, India, contributing to their research team.
